BlunderBall
A 2D platformer. Use Arrows to move and Space to jump and (sort of) wall jump. Also, you are carrying a big metal ball. Good luck.
Made for the GMTK Jam 2021: Joined together.
The most direct interpretation is to just physically join something to the player but who has the balls to do something like that? I do, and maybe you too. After playing around with the mechanic of chaining the player with a ball I decided to make it something like a rage game a la Bennets Foddy's "Get over it". So don't expect a walk in the park.

PostJam Update;
-No more getting stuck inside walls. At least it should be a lot harder.
-the game saves automatically the number of loses and wins. it also means that if you unlock the golden ball it stays unlocked.
-added starting menu where you can choose your ball.
-added pause menu (press Esc) so you can return to the main screen.
-updated the wall jump, it should be more consistent now.
-also added more obstacles.

I found a bug where when moving at high speeds, the ball will sometimes clip into the ground, trapping the player in place.
Ah yes thats because some floors are made of tiles, my bad, will fix after the jam.
Well, in my case I got trapped instead of the ball X
